Core ValuesDetermination, Grit, and Professionalism show through during the Core Values discussion at last Monday's School Board Meeting.  Director of Elementary Education Jay Peters honors the individuals as they are presented with their certificates.

"Brenda is very active in the art scene at the district, state and national level." Jay Peters states  Brenda was chosen to present in at a recent art teacher conference in Indianapolis where she shared her expertise with seasoned veterans and aspiring teachers.  Brenda continues to support through the arts through her daily practices in the classroom as well as through the after school Art Club Program at Riverview Middle School.  Brenda's noticeable contribution to the arts in our community allows our students to thrive and embrace their interests.

"Five.  Let me repeat that, five in a row." states Jay Peters.  Consecutive titles in any sport is quite the feat let alone five in a row.  Peter Kitchen earns a fifth consecutive Tennis Sectional Championship in the North East 8 Conference.  Kitchen quickly directs the attention to the Tennis team as they receive their certificates.  The board recognizes Max Fusselman, Braeden Christiansen and Matt Daas for earning spots in All-Conference Singles as well as Mason Kline and Dale Schweller for earning spots in All-Conference Doubles.

Core Values continue to provide the opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments of our amazing students and staff.
